Volunteer Policy

To effectively serve children, L.A.M.B.S expects all volunteers to consistently share God’s Word with integrity. The following outlines our expectations as an organization.

Application Process:

New volunteers must complete a formal application that includes a pastoral reference, attend a new volunteer training session, and shadow for at least a month before teaching. Additional training is provided by Child Evangelism Fellowship after completing the L.A.M.B.S training process. Once CEF issues a certificate of completion, volunteers are permitted to organize and lead L.A.M.B.S children’s Bible clubs.

Requirements to Operate a Children’s Bible Club with L.A.M.B.S:

  1. Complete the required L.A.M.B.S and CEF trainings unless previously CEF-trained, in which case, L.A.M.B.S formal training must still be completed.
  2. Provide four spiritual references who have known you for at least two years, including one pastor or small group leader.
  3. Participate in a practical New Volunteer training session lasting at least a month.
  4. Demonstrate a personal relationship with Jesus, reflecting faith, love, unity, and a willingness to share your faith (John 13:35).
  5. Submit a handwritten testimony describing your salvation experience and who Jesus is to you.
  6. Be actively involved in a local church for accountability, fellowship, and biblical teaching.
  7. Maintain a Christlike, biblical lifestyle, showing emotional maturity, healthy relationships, and moral integrity.
  8. Have a teachable spirit, remaining open to learning from children and others.
  9. Commit to teaching God’s truth clearly and accurately, avoiding doctrinal confusion, preparing lessons thoroughly, and trusting the Holy Spirit to transform children’s lives through His Word (Hebrews 4:12).

Since L.A.M.B.S serves children, we expect all volunteers to adhere to these policies and requirements. The organization reserves the right to approve or deactivate volunteers if it is deemed in the best interest of the children.
