About the Founder
Simon Tata
Founder, L.A.M.B.S (Living As My Bible Says)
Simon Tata, a native of Cameroon, West Africa, discovered his passion for children’s ministry after encountering Christ at age 9. Discipled through Sunday school and a local Children’s Bible Club led by Auntie Gloria, he developed a deep love for God’s Word. In high school, Simon launched a children’s Bible club in his parents’ home, which quickly grew and led to the planting of five additional clubs reaching over 85 children weekly.
He also led Bible teachings at his school, organized soccer outreaches, children’s crusades, and door-to-door evangelism. While in college, Simon continued his ministry through Cameroon Youths for Jesus, focusing on student evangelism.
After relocating to the U.S. in 2006, he served as Sunday School Director with All Nations Christian Fellowship and partnered with IFI to reach international students. In 2015, in response to a divine call, Simon founded LAMBS – Living As My Bible Says, to reach and disciple children into Christ-like leaders. Simon is married to Erica, and they have two sets of twin girls and a son.
He shares, “All I want is for Christ to be glorified, beginning with the lives of these little ones. May His Kingdom come, and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven. To Jesus alone be all the glory.”
